Brass Scrap Recycling

Brass is an alloy made up mainly of copper and zinc, widely used in plumbing, mechanical parts, taps, valves and decorative elements. Thanks to its properties and resistance, it is a highly valued material in the recycling sector.

When brass parts are no longer used, they can be recovered and recycled to be used again in the manufacture of new products. This process makes it possible to take advantage of existing materials, reduce the consumption of natural resources and reduce the amount of waste generated.

How to recycle brass

The recycling of brass also represents a significant energy saving compared to the production of new metal, in addition to contributing to reducing emissions and the environmental impact associated with the extraction of raw materials.

To facilitate recycling, it is advisable to separate brass from other metals or materials, avoiding mixing it with plastics, wood or other waste. In this way, its treatment is simplified and the quality of the recovered material is improved.
